The STD clinic at the Toledo-Lucas County Health Center accepts walk-in patients on a first come, first serve basis. Registration for the clinic starts one hour prior to clinic start time. Hours to register for this specialty clinic are:
- 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Monday
- 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday
- 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. on Thursday.
A photo ID is necessary for registration. The charge is $30 or all insurances are accepted.

Other testing is determined by the provider. The focused patient visit includes time with the nurse, lab staff, and provider. Please allow enough time to see all staff for the most complete care. Patient testing results may be picked up within 7-10 business days at the Health Department’s front desk. Please be sure to provide updated contact information to the clinic staff as follow up care may be necessary.
At the STD Clinic, we know that our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersex patients, finding sensitive, culturally competent and clinically appropriate healthcare can be a challenging and uncertain. We will do our best to make you feel safe and respected.
**The Health Department will not turn away any patient based upon ability to pay. All fees are billed according to a sliding fee scale.**
